The TLCS Mentally Ill Chemical Abuser (MICA) program is designed to offer intensive support and advocacy
services to residents of our transitional housing programs
that have both substance abuse issues and a psychiatric disability.
Our goal is to assist individuals in developing positive coping
strategies and inspire recovery motivated thinking.
We offer a plethora of supportive services including:
- Case Management
- Group Therapy
- Dual Recovery Anonymous
- Relapse Prevention
- Individualized Substance Abuse Counseling
- Crisis Management
We attempt to help individuals understand old patterns of
inefficient problem solving and create the opportunity
for a move to a more productive behavior pattern—that
which incorporates knowledge, understanding, judgment, personal
responsibility and better perception of choices.
