SHEP
TLCS works vigorously to reach homeless individuals with psychiatric disabilities to help them take the first steps away from homelessness. This is done through a variety of programs. Please contact Duane Wright, SHEP Supervisor at (916) 440-1500 x 109
The TLCS Outreach program is continually expanding
in both scope and services to better serve the members of our community.
These include:
| Ayuda |
 |
Ayuda is a collaborative project with the Social Security Administration that offers direct assistance to individuals that are currently homeless and in need of expedited processing of applications for Social Security benefits. Our benefits advocates work directly with individuals wherever they may be located. Assistance is provided to individuals that are new to the Social Security system as well as individuals that have applied and need assistance with their application. |
| Shelter Outreach |
 |
| TLCS offers extensive outreach to Sacramento area shelters providing information to individuals with psychiatric disabilities regarding other mental health programs, entitlements, housing and services as a way to end the cycle of homelessness within this population. |
